BERSIH and Violence

I can't believe my ears. The propaganda and the blatant lie. Basically thousands of people gathered in KL for a demonstration called BERSIH, and it's calling for a reform in the election, asking for the use of indelible inks in election, cancellation of mail votes, update on the electoral rolls, and enable transparent and fair reports on the election.

And then they blocked roads, threatened legal actions on attendants, used water cannons and irritant sprays to prevent this from happening. And this respectable minister here is saying that

"We have to end this culture immediately, because if only a few people think this way, they will pollute the peaceful atmosphere of our country. This is not part of our culture, demonstrations always end in VIOLENCE."

What the hell.

And they are going to win in the next election.
